If ever a picture said a thousand words I think it is this one. Exponentially better. It’s from another team who built with Homes of Hope and hope and joy are splashed on with each stroke of orange paint. Our kids love the fact that the houses are so bright and can’t wait to see what colour our families pick! A couple of weeks ago we had a visiting speaker who talked about replacing his 20 year old car with a 10 year old one and how it exciting it was that they now had a reliable car – with cupholders. But what he was really talking about was how we can help to change other peoples lives, make them exponentially better, using our gifts, our talents, our money, showing love to bring hope and purpose. His example was Freeset an amazing ministry in the red light district of Kolkata, India, where girls and women end up as the lowest of the low on the line, used and abused. Freeset gives them new skills, love and hope, making their lives… exponentially better. We are super excited about our project, the difference it will make to two families in Mexico, and the lasting effects it will have on our own family.
